¿Debo comprar oro o bitcoin? Comparación de ventajas y desventajas de ambos activos

¿Debo comprar oro o bitcoin? Comparación de ventajas y desventajas de ambos activos

https://preview.redd.it/hh3edha4pse51.png?width=696&format=png&auto=webp&s=d76c7b5f5ecce0904291bad206c2755312037032

Huobi Derivative Market (Huobi DM)
Margin Trading
Huobi Global launched Huobi Derivative Market (Huobi DM) exchange to selected countries. It provides margin trading, with very low daily loan interest rates of 0.1%. Margin Trading allows users to increase their investment exposure given a limited base principal to enjoy multiple returns.
3-Steps taken in Margin Trading:
 1. Request for Loan
 2. Trade on Margin (Long/Short)
 3. Repay Margin Loan and Interest
With the introduction of Cross Margin on Huobi, users will have to explicitly input the respective margin type before executing the above 3 steps. Balances on the Cross Margin balance does not show on the Isolated Margin balance.
Huobi Futures
Huobi Futures is a kind of digital currency derivatives. Users can make a profit from the rising/falling of digital currencies prices by going long or selling short based on their own judgment.
The Huobi Futures Contract adopts spread delivery. When the contract expires, all open positions will be closed at the index-based last-hour arithmetic average price, instead of physical delivery.
BTC/ETH/EOS/LTC/XRP/BCH/TRX/BSV/ETC Contracts are available on Huobi DM. Contracts are priced in USD, with corresponding digital currency (BTC/ETH/EOS/LTC/XRP/BCH/TRX respectively) as margin to open positions, and PnL is also settled in corresponding digital currency.
Weekly, bi-weekly and quarterly contracts are available in Huobi DM. Weekly contracts will be settled on imminent Friday; Bi-weekly contracts will be settled on next Friday; Quarterly contracts will be settled on the last Friday of March, June, September and December.
Choices of leverage: 1x, 5x, 10x, 20x
Huobi Perpetual Swap
Huobi introduced Perpetual Swaps on March 27, 2020 (GMT+8). Huobi Perpetual swap is a kind of digital currency derivatives. Users can make a profit from the rising/falling of digital currencies prices by going long or selling short based on their own judgment. Similar to a margin spot market, its price is close to the price of the underlying reference index. The main mechanism for anchoring spot prices is the cost of funds. Perpetual swap have no delivery date. Users can always hold it. Perpetual swap are settled every 8 hours. After each settlement, the realized profit/loss and unrealized profits/losses are transferred to the user account balance.
Partial Liquidation
Huobi Futures adopted partial liquidation to help position holders reduce liquidation risk. Users with large positions and high leverage bear high risk. Huobi Futures releases partial liquidation with the aim to lower possible losses due to high price volatility thus giving users better trading experience.
Under partial liquidation mechanism, when liquidation is triggered, instead of liquidating all positions at once, the system reduces positions gradually till a grade whose margin ratio is great than 0. Full liquidation will only occur when the margin ratio of tier 1 upper limit net position still fails to be great than 0.
Trading Fees
The Huobi exchange has a fair trading fee structure. Every asset traded via Huobi Global is subject to a 0.2% trade fee, for both market makers and takers. Further, Huobi Global has introduced a tiered fee system which offers competitively lower fees for high volume traders. VIP membership gives access to various fee reductions and other benefits.
Huobi Prime
Huobi Prime, the Launchpad platform which we can call Direct Premium Offering (DPO), does share some similarities with initial exchange offerings (IEO) like Binance Launchpad, but it is unique as it is not a fundraising platform, and any coins purchased on the platform are immediately deposited into the users’ wallets and tradable on Huobi Global. Huobi Prime offers its users early access to the coins of premium projects, which can be bought using its native crypto currency, the Huobi Token. To avoid dumping, Huobi has implemented an innovative idea of a period of tiered price limits.
Huobi FastTrack
Huobit FastTrack, rebranded from Huobi Prime Lite, is a new listing model. Wherein, all participants will have a direct say in what projects are listed on Huobi Global and when. In addition, winning voters will get access to quality tokens at below market rates. The program also provides much needed exposure and a straightforward listing process.

Key peopleChangpeng Zhao (CEO)ProductsCryptocurrency Exchange
CEO Changpeng Zhao had previously founded Fusion Systems in 2005 in Shanghai; the company built high-frequency trading systems for brokers. In 2013 he joined Blockchain.info as the third member of the cryptocurrency wallet’s team. He also worked at OKCoin as CTO for less than a year, a platform for spot trading between fiat and digital assets.
Binance was founded in China but moved its servers and headquarters out of China and into Japan in advance of the Chinese government ban on cryptocurrency trading in September 2017. By March 2018 the company had established offices in Taiwan.
As of January 2018 it was largest crypto-exchange with a BNB market capitalization of $1.3 billion.
In March 2018, Binance announced its intentions to open an office in Malta after stricter regulations in Japan and China. In addition, Binance plans to move to Jersey to expand its European influence, having achieved a exchange license there, and plans to add fiat pairs including the Euro and the British pound to its supported currencies.
In August 2018, Binance along with three other big exchanges raised $32 million for a stable coin project. The idea of stable coins is to provide a cryptocurrency without the notorious volatility of Bitcoin and other popular digital assets.
Binance Coin (BNB Coin) is an ERC20 based token issued by Binance with a total supply of 200,000,000 coins.
BNB coin will be used on the binance cryptocurrency exchange to pay for trading fees, enabling a discount on your trades! As you can see from the illustration ever year the fee discount is reduced but every quarter, Binance will use 20% of its profit to buy back and burn BNB until 100mm BNB are burned. As the total supply of BNB decreases, the value per BNB increases.
In the future, BNB will be used as gas on the binance platform and has use cases have been discussed in various fields, the more applications and use cases BNB coin has, the higher the value will go for BNB coin!

Raspberry Pi Home Dashboard

I had a few requests of my home dashboard, and wanted to share with everyone how I put it together.
What you'll need:
Step 1: Instructions to Set Up the Raspberry Pi Itself:
Step 2: Set up the HTML File to Display
/home/pi/html
 1. Background.png
 2. Dashboard.html
 3. News.html
 4. Map.html
 5. Stocks.html
 6. ToDo.html
 7. Weather.html
 8. Calendar.html
FINAL Comments. This project probably took me 1h to set up the pi. And 4ish hours stumbling around to get the dashboard set up. My only real outlay was a monitor mount and a new monitor. Best of luck!
EDIT Here is the link for the current version of the dashboard. I removed the traffic for the weekend, but this is the dashboard. I have some formatting I really want to do (headings et al), but this should be a decent start. I have also included the color scheme I used.

Why are exchanges using incorrectly quoted pairs?

According to forex tutorial on Investopedia
USD/JPY = 119.50 This is referred to as a currency pair. The currency to the left of the slash is the base currency, while the currency on the right is called the quote or counter currency. The base currency (in this case, the U.S. dollar) is always equal to one unit (in this case, US$1), and the quoted currency (in this case, the Japanese yen) is what that one base unit is equivalent to in the other currency. The quote means that US$1 = 119.50 Japanese yen. In other words, US$1 can buy 119.50 Japanese yen. The forex quote includes the currency abbreviations for the currencies in question.
According to this both Bittrex: https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=USDT-BTC
and Poloniex: https://poloniex.com/exchange#usdt_btc
...are quoting this pair incorrectly because it means that one Tether USD buys you 9250 Bitcoins currently.
The tradingview does not conform to this mistake and they quote all respective markets BTC-USDT (as it should be).
The exchanges are sticking to the same "incorrect" quoting for every BTC pair, for example BTC-ETH is 0.097 which would again mean 1 BTC buys you 0.097 ETH and not the other way around.
Tradingview again rectifies the mistake according to Forex rules.
Anyone understands WHY the exchanges stuck to these "incorrect" way of quoting?

Can Elliott Waves Really Predict the Price of Bitcoin?

Introduction to Elliott Waves
Elliott Waves are a technical analysis indicator to predict future price trends. The principles of Elliott Waves are founded on the belief that markets follow predictable sequences of optimism and pessimism.
The sequence of a bull market follows the below pattern. A bear market follows an exact opposite sequence. To learn how to apply Elliott Waves, watch this tutorial by DanV, a very popular Trading View bitcoin chartist.
http://i.imgur.com/NDMTrnn.gif
In a market largely driven by psychology and speculation, one can expect Elliott Waves to be applicable to bitcoin. However, Elliott Wave theory was developed in the 1930s to predict stock prices — can it really be used to predict the price of an asset that would have been inconceivable to the creator of the theory?
This post will analyse the suitability of Elliott Waves for bitcoin traders wishing to get ahead of the market.
Statistical validity
In 2001 an eighteen month study was led by a programmer and market trader called Rich Sanwell. The aim of the study was to determine which patterns worked, and whether the overall principle of Elliott Waves could be proven to be accurate predictors of market trends.
The key findings were:
Elliott Wave, as a theory, was statistically sound. This means that market movements can be predicted using sequences of investor psychology.
However, in 65% of assets, Elliott Waves were deemed too unreliable to be used for trading predictions. Therefore, to be successful with Elliott Waves, a trader must find one of the 35% of assets that move according to patterns outline by the general principles of Elliott Waves.
Those assets likely to follow Elliott Wave sequences have lots of liquidity/volume and are clearly influenced by greed/fear cycles. The Dow Jones matches this criteria and has been famously predicted by Robert Pretcher with Elliot Waves:
http://i.imgur.com/VTJwYMu.png
Thus, a bitcoin trader considering using Elliott Waves must question whether or not bitcoin can be classified as ‘liquid’, and whether or not the price is driven by investor psychology.
Does bitcoin have enough liquidity for Elliott Wave analysis?
Unfortunately, no hard number has been set to define what level of liquidity is required for an asset to be predictable with Elliott Waves. However, Steven Poser, Vice President in the Strategic Analysis and Market Data Group at NYSE Euronex, writes in his Elliott Wave book:
"shares of companies that trade by appointment must be avoided… there must be a crowd for technical analysis to work properly."
According to this definition: yes, bitcoin does have sufficient liquidity to apply Elliott Waves and other technical analysis tools. An evidence of this liquidity is the ease and speed of opening/closing position on exchanges using BTC.sx.
http://i.imgur.com/qcvZzME.png
Now one must consider the question of investor psychology.
Is bitcoin driven by greed/fear cycles?
The short answer to this is: mostly yes.
Bitcoin appears to go through periods of relative stability and then enter a phase of parabolic growth, followed by a sharp correction. This correction ends at a level higher than the pre-hype price, after which the cycle eventually begins again.
This is a textbook greed/fear cycle and a simple chart comparison shows a high degree of fit:
http://i.imgur.com/CLmtJjb.png
http://i.imgur.com/DjSHFsu.png
However, one must appreciate that the price of bitcoin is also influenced by mining difficulty and supply.
Despite this, investor psychology appears to have a much larger influence on bitcoin’s price.
Now that is established that, in theory, Elliott Waves can be used to predict bitcoin’s price, let’s take a look at whether this is possible in practice.
Has anyone accurately predicted bitcoin’s price with Elliott Waves?
Theory and practice are very different things. And only the latter will generate profits.
To assess the real-life returns traders have made from Elliott Waves, the only accessible data are Trading View charts. These allow traders to make predictions, and then chart the price movement against these predictions. Thus, greater accuracy should equate greater profits — assuming the chartist is honest about their prediction.
The most respected bitcoin trader on Trading View is DanV. DanV also happens to like Elliott Waves. Hence, if anyone can make a profit trading bitcoin with Elliott Waves, it is DanV.
But his past charts have mixed results:
https://www.tradingview.com/v/qm7cnu9V/
http://i.imgur.com/HgeXqDx.png
https://www.tradingview.com/v/7ssFMZmi/
http://i.imgur.com/DpCxTxj.png
https://www.tradingview.com/v/A1mFwkEG/
http://i.imgur.com/igQ2tn2.png
The price direction appears to be predicted accurately, but not speed of change or the duration of a wave. These predictions would mostly produce losses, with the occasional profit (assuming a trader traded at every wave).
Conclusion
In summary, it is possible to predict market trends with Elliott Waves for some assets. Although no formal study has been done, it is likely that bitcoin falls within the 35% of assets that can be analysed accurately with Elliott Waves.
However, Elliott Waves are a difficult concept to apply in practice. As a result of this, it remains very challenging to make a profit trading bitcoin with Elliott Waves alone.
Investopedia describes the difficulty of using Elliott Waves nicely:
"There is a standard joke shared by technical analysts that if you were to put twelve Elliott Wave practitioners in a room, they would fail to reach an agreement on wave count and the direction in which a stock is headed."

P.D 3:
